Sometimes you have to do what you don't want to do until you get to where you want to be in life. Just make sure what you are doing is moving you towards your goals.
If your plan is to stay in your comfort zone, that's fine. That's a choice and there's really nothing wrong with that. But to compete with the best at whatever you do, you have to go well beyond your comfort zone.
Whatever you do now lays the foundation and helps create your tomorrow. Is it whT you are doing today creating for you a better tomorrow?
I recently bought a new truck since my old car, which was still running fine, was getting up in miles and it just wasn't worth it anymore to pay for maintenance. It was more practical at this time to buy a new car, which I had the resources to do.
I say this not to be bragadocio, but to point out the excitement I get for seeing the fruits of my labor. There is nothing wrong with being proud of your accomplishment. You can certainly do this without showing off. Work hard, and also enjoy the rewards.
How many times have you wanted and strived for something only to find yourself either too scared or unmotivated to go after it when you have it in your grasp. Be sure you are ready to to grasp the opportunities you want when they come your way. If you don't, it may not have been that important in the first place.
Make the time to do what you love. Start now. Don't waste unnecessary time on things that make you miserable.
Change is scary, however, unavoidable. Learn to embrace and adapt to it.
Though I do believe one should live on the moment as much as possible, it is important too, to prepare as much as pointe for tomorrow. Being prepared will put us ahead and ease some anxiety.
Life gets busy. But it's never too much work if it's going towards something you really want.
Keep moving forward and take the extra steps, even when tired and feel like giving in. If it's towards something you want, it is a little easier.
